DAILY-THYAN SUTRAS OF GENERAL-TO-THERE-LOCATION Duong, Bat Nha translates Sanskrit into Chinese characters. Thich Tam-Chau translated Chinese characters into Vietnamese characters V.- A LAN-MIND PRODUCTS At that time, in the Dharma assembly there was a great Bodhisattva named THUONG-TINH-TIEN thanks to the Buddha's mighty spirit. got up from the throne, put down his right shoulder shirt, put his right knee on the ground, clasped his hands respectfully and said to the Buddha: "Venerable One! As the Buddha said that the place of Arahantship is Bodh Gaya, if anyone has a mind to seek Bodhi, he should not leave that place. In that place of Arahantship, there are many living beings: tigers, leopards, swarms, poisonous insects, wild animals, even flying birds, hunters, who do not know the Tathagata, do not listen to the correct Dharma. , but do not respect the Sangha, those sentient beings do not cultivate their good roots and stay away from liberation, yet, how can the Tathagata make people study in that Arahantship in order to quickly attain enlightenment? become a Buddha? May the World-Honored One, for the sake of sentient beings, discriminate and explain, resolve that doubt, make sentient beings happy and generate bodhicitta, so that they will not be turned back!” The Buddha said to Bodhisattva Constantly Tinh Tien: "How precious! Precious instead! Good-boy-man! He asked with great kindness the Tathagata about purity and liberation, benefits for future practitioners, and immeasurable merit. He listens carefully, listens carefully and remembers to think well! Now I make a distinction for you to speak about the merits of Alanya!" The Bodhisattva Everlasting Tinh Tien said: "Yes, World-Honored One! I wish to hear!” The Buddha said to Bodhisattva Everlasting Tinh Tien: "As you said, in Arahantship, one can become a saint, but in the mountains and forests many sentient beings are not able to become Buddhas because of certain causes and conditions. That is not the meaning. Why is that so? - The other sentient beings do not know the Three Jewels, do not know boredom, enough, do not know good and evil; in the mountains and forests, though there are many treasures of the world, but they still don't know its hiding place. Not like the great Bodhisattva, Good-boy! Bodhisattvas know that the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are treasures out of the world, and the seven hidden gems are worldly treasures; they all discern all its appearances and know its whereabouts. but, not covetous, nor like to see, let alone pick up? The bodhisattva bodhisattva renunciation arose a firm mind that did not regret his life, leaving his parents, six relatives and relatives, preferring to live in the mountains and forests, often thinking: "Suppose that when life ends, the three heavens will come to an end. In this great heaven the seven suns rise, the fire burns and consumes all things, the sun, the moon, the stars, the Mount Tudi, the seven Mounts of Jinshan, the Mount Tievi..., the time comes. dissipated; right up to the highest realm of the three realms is the Phi-fi-sense heaven, after eighty thousand kalpas are reborn in the earthly realm; The Holy King is surrounded by thousands of children, his seven treasures and his relatives and four continents all obey, but when the retribution of life-life ends, it does not stop for a moment. Now we too, assuming a life span of one hundred years, seven treasures, full enjoyment of all pleasures, but the arrival of the messenger of Flame, it is impossible not to be impermanent. Seeing this, he thought, "Now, I have nothing better than to replace my parents and other sentient beings who practice the Bodhisattva practice. I will obtain an indestructible vajra body, and then return to the three realms to save my parents. ". Make that vow and then stay in the place of Praise for the sake of sentient beings making vast vows. [1] The Bodhisattva with the highest faculties made a vow: "May I, when I have not yet become a Buddha again, will always stay in an empty place, always sitting and not lying down." The Bodhisattva of Middle-roots made a vow: "May I, before I become a Buddha again, often sit under a tree covered with leaves, not lying down." The Bodhisattva of lower faculties made a vow: "May I, before I become a Buddha again, often sit in a stone house, not lying down." The three faculties in the bodhisattva renunciation like this, sitting in the three thrones [2] just spoke, all thought: "Bodhisattvas of the past sat on this throne, witnessing the merits of dharanimons. self-indulgence; the Bodhisattvas in the past, present and future lives, are on this throne and are certified by Dharani; I am the same, now I sit here determined to achieve dharani, be free. If I am not yet accomplished and am at peace, I will not leave the place of Alanya!" Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully fulfilled the four immeasurable minds (loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity) who are determined not to forsake in Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully attained the five supernatural powers and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fulfilled the six perfections and are determined not to leave the place of Alanha. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet perfected their skills in skillful means and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are Bodhisattvas who have not yet tamed all sentient beings, determined not to leave Alanya. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet perfected the four dharmas,[3] determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet practiced the six-recollection dharmas[4] who are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet achieved "wisdom, multi-literacy", determined not to leave the place of Alanya. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet attained steadfast faith and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there is a bodhisattva who has not yet abandoned his sixty-two views, [5] determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet practiced the eight righteous paths, [6] determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet completely rid themselves of the habit of afflictions and tribulations, determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet perfected their wonderful wisdom in giving medicine to their illnesses and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully attained the mind of great bodhi, Determined not to forsake the Arahantship, Or there is a Bodhisattva who has not yet fully attained the samādhi, who is determined not to forsake the Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet attained immeasurable supernatural powers and are determined not to leave the place of Alanha. Or there are bodhisattvas who use their supernatural powers in great concentration to see eighteen "empties"[7] but their minds are not sutras, such great things, if they have not yet been accomplished, are determined not to give up. where Alanya is. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully attained omniscient knowledge and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully attained the omniscience of all knowledge, and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet cultivated the thirty-seven Bodhidharmas and are determined not to leave the place of Alanna. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fulfilled all the virtues of the Ten Grounds, [8] determined not to forsake in Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not been able to practice for a hundred kalpas the karmic results of good marks, determined not to leave Alanya. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully attained the four wisdoms of the Tathagata and are determined not to leave the place of Arahantship. Or there are bodhisattvas who have not yet fully attained the attainment of great nirvana, determined not to leave the place of Alanna. Or there are bodhisattvas who sit on the vajra throne, but have not yet attained unsurpassed righteous enlightenment, determined to sit down and never get up. So the Bodhisatta practiced Arahantship. Good-boy-man! The bodhisattva renunciates the mind of Bodhi, enters the forest, sits on the three thrones while speaking, refines his body and mind, spends many aeons, cultivates all kinds of actions, and attains unsurpassed Bodhi. . At that time, the World-Honored One repeated the above meaning with the following verse: In the past, the human-grounded Tathagatas, In Alanha, left the world; Section, remove afflictions, department-triangles, Overcome the three realms of Bodhi. Bodhisattvas in the past practice vows, Take Arahantship as a home; In innumerable lifetimes of practicing happiness, Salvation of the Ten-ground evidence of the three bodies. Bodhisattva-future seeking Buddha-fruit, Into the deep mountain practice-virtue; Eliminate two obstacles, life-and-death, Will witness three-no-truth liberation. Want to witness knowledge as illusory, non-existent, [9] Understand the original-hybrid-no; In Arahantship, Bodhgaya, Causing them to also enter the true liberation. [10] If you want to quickly be as-like-witnesses, the Association of such-such as-characteristics; The end of the great-life-times of the sea-fishermen were born. Often in Lanna, where there was no nationality. If people want to be nan-advised, Tu-di collected in the mustard seed; Tu-di, mustard seed indestructible, Entering the house of divine powers in Lan Nha. [11] If one wants to be free-of-mind, A wonderful-sounding voice is used to preach the Dharma; Depending on the type of sentient beings are freed, Should stay in Lan-ya to practice magic-contemplation. If you want not to be born and not to die, Appearing in the country in the ten directions; Radiant preaching of the Dharma to benefit community-born, Do not leave Lan-a-house without a state. If you use your toes to seal the great-ground, Causing the worlds of the ten directions to shake; See the general, develop the mind to remove the wrong-view, Should stay in Lan-ya contemplating self-mind. [12] If desired, while the Buddha appears, the First Order respectfully offers vi-magic-offering; Thi-paramita is all perfect, In Alanna practice wonderful conduct. If people, when the Buddha entered Nirvana, the ultimate offering-in the meaning of "Giving"; End poverty and the eight tribulations, Vow to stay in Arahantship. If you want to be happy-wise, all Buddhas will be near Nirvana in the future; Received a vast vow, the Buddha gave it to, At Alan-na practice six mindfulness. After the Buddha entered Nirvana, Collecting di-dharma to save living beings; Supporting the true-vehicle of the Buddhas, At home "no-passion" in Lan Nha. Great Master Nhan, Thien: The World-Honored One, Hard to see, harder to meet than Udumbara; If you want to see an audience, make an offering, You should stay in Lan Nha, with a wide range of compassion. All treasures are respected, the Dharma is more respected, Buddhahood, and benefits are due here; Like people who want to hear the Dharma often, In Alanna practice the holy life. First, from this body to the Buddha's body, Often vows to develop the righteous-teaching mind; Until Bodhi is attained, Mindfulness does not give up Arahantship. If he wants to repay his parents, Substitute parents make an oath; Entering Bodh Gaya in Lantern, Day and night often practice on the wonderful path. If you want to have more happiness in this life, you won't fall in the eight tribulations in the future; In this way, sentient beings generate good intentions, In Alanna practice compassion. Three generations of Bodhisattvas seek true enlightenment, Get the path of Nirvana in Lan Nha; That's why it's called the great-dao-coa, the Holy-sangha of the Three Vehicles is there. Bodhisattva bored into the mountains and forests, For the sake of the group of sentient beings to seek the Holy Way; Having not attained Buddhahood before, the six paths and four species are all merciful. Bodhisattvas of superior capacity in the open ground, Bodhisattvas of medium capacity in the shade of leaves; Bodhisattvas with low faculties live in stone houses, Not yet attaining Buddhahood, they often do not lie down. Three generations of Bodhisattvas in Lanna, Gaining self-power in Darani; Now, I swear with the mind of Bodhi, I will be able to receive the General Retention, and stay here forever. Spread the sentient beings through the village, Because of the desire to die, they prefer the mountains and forests; Humanity is full of happiness, results are also complete, End of future-all species. When the World-Honored One spoke about the practice of A-lan-ya of Bodhisattvas leaving home like that, immeasurable Bodhisattvas attained Extreme-happiness-ground; Hang-ha-sa innumerable Bodhisattvas leave the general, use-subtle-defilements, witness Real-motion-ground; the inconceivable, the unspeakable Great-Bodhisattva ends all or-obstructed into the Wonderful-Enlightenment-ground; Boundless sentient beings generate the mind of no-equal, unsurpassed righteous-right enlightenment; ninety thousand seven thousand sentient beings who are separated from the mundane and have pure Dharma eye. [14] SUCCESSFUL V.- SMALL ALAN-PRODUCTS At that time in the Dharma assembly, the great bodhisattva Forever Tinh Tien said to the Buddha: “Venerable Sir! The Buddha said that the place of Alanna is the Bodhi Way, and those who generate the Bodhi mind should not leave that place. Why would the wild animals, poisonous insects, flying birds, and hunters live right there not listen? Knowing the Three Jewels and cultivating good roots, the Buddha kept telling people to study there in order to quickly become a Buddha?" The Buddha said to the great bodhisattva Everlasting Tinh Tien: "You are not saying that. It's because those sentient beings know nothing. Even the precious things in the forest, They don't even know where. Bodhisattvas are not like that. The bodhisattva knows that the Three Jewels are precious, so the treasures of the Bodhisattva's life know well, but do not covet. The Bodhisattva, who develops a steadfast mind, does not regret his life, abandons kinship, and dwells in the mountains and forests, often thinking: "These three realms will sometimes perish, even if a person in the throne is like a Wheel-turner. A king or a body, even if we live to be a hundred years old, we cannot avoid impermanence. If only I would replace my parents and other sentient beings to practice the bodhisattva practice, and I would obtain an indestructible vajra body, and then return to the three realms of salvation for all." Therefore, the Bodhisattva of great capacity in the place where Alanna vows: "While not yet becoming a Buddha, he will sit down and lie down on an empty ground!" Bodhisattva vows: "While not yet becoming a Buddha, sit under a tree and do not lie down!" The bodhisattva lowers his vow: "While not yet becoming a Buddha, he sits in a cave and does not lie down!" And, the Bodhisattvas all think: "The Bodhisattvas of the three generations have all sat on this throne and cultivated the self-sufficient dharani, and I am determined to achieve the same, otherwise, I would not have left this place!" Or there are bodhisattvas who vow not to leave the place of Arahantship if they have not yet eliminated the 62 views and the habit of the two hindrances. Or there are bodhisattvas who vow not to forsake Arahantship if they have not yet fulfilled it: the four immeasurable minds, the five supernatural powers, the six perfections, the four dharmas, the eight righteous-- religion, 6 thoughts. And, if you have not yet mastered the means, not yet tamed all sentient beings, not yet possessed of multicultural wisdom, not yet firmly convinced, not yet possessed of wonderful wisdom in medically ill, has not yet attained great bodhicitta, has not attained the constant sa samādhi, has not yet obtained immeasurable divine powers, has not yet attained the power of concentration, has not yet attained one. All-knowledge, All-knowledge, not yet certified 37 Bodhidharma, has not yet practiced conduct in the Ten Grounds, has not yet cultivated the karma of good generals, has not attained the 4 wisdoms, has not yet attained Great Nirvana and has not yet attained supreme enlightenment... elegant. The bodhisattva renunciates the Bodhi mind in the mountains and forests, refines his body and mind, cultivates all sorts of actions for many great kalpas, in order to realize unsurpassed and righteous bodhi! When the Buddha spoke about the practice of Arahantship, many bodhisattvas either attained the ground of extreme joy, or attained immobility, or entered the wonderful path of enlightenment, and many sentient beings either generated their minds. Unsurpassed Bodhi, or apart from the mundane, obtains pure Dharma eye. [1] In the above passage, from the place "at that time" to the place "the vast", the Bodhisattva Tinh Tien suspiciously inquired about the matter of Arahantship. The Buddha clearly stated the karma-conditions of sentient beings in that place, to dispel doubts. And, he also talked widely about the bodhisattvas who like to live in the mountains and forests, because they see the truth of suffering in impermanence, so they vow to practice cultivation to repay the favor. [2] Three courts: Sitting in the open ground, under the tree and the stone house. [3] Four photography methods: Four practical methods to lead sentient beings, to believe in the righteous path: 1/ Giving. 2/ Ai-language. 3/ Profit-taking. 4/ Colleagues. [4] Six-Contemplation: Six methods of remembering and thinking: 1/ Reciting the Buddha's name: thinking of the Buddha is full of ten names, full of happiness-knowledge, wishing to be equal to the Buddha. 2/ Mindfulness-Dharma: thinking of the Dharma is the Buddha's words with many merits and wishes to be realized. 3/ Mindfulness of the Sangha: think of the Sangha, gain no-illegality, complete the three studies, cultivate a happy field for the world, look forward to that practice. 4/ Mindfulness of the world: think of the precepts that have many forces to prevent evil-doing, and try to protect them. 5/ Mindfulness of giving: thinking of giving alms with great merit, eliminating the disease of spasticity and greed, wanting to bring the good dharma of giving to sentient beings. 6/ Mindfulness of heaven: thinking of the heavens, by cultivating wholesome roots, precepts, and giving, gaining natural pleasures, hoping to have enough merit, and being born in those places. [5] 62 Views: These sixty-two types of wrong views (wrong ideas), sutras, interpretations, and interpretations do not match, now they are in the section on the Buddha's model in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, which analyzes the bias towards : form, feeling, perception, action, consciousness, and body and spirit as follows: A.- Attachment to the 5 aggregates of the past: 1/ Form is permanent. 2/ Form is impermanent. 3/ Form is permanent, impermanent. 4/ Form is extraordinary, non-impermanent. Thu, Perception, Action, and Consciousness 4 aggregates all accept 4 such things, so they become 20 views. B.- Attachment to the 5 aggregates of the present: 1/ Attachment to form (space) is finite (with boundaries, meaning there is an extreme place). 2/ Accepting colors is boundless. 3/ Attachment to form is boundless and boundless, 4/ Attachment to form is non-boundary, non-boundary. Thu, Perception, Action, and Consciousness 4 aggregates all accept 4 such things, so they become 20 views. C.- Attachment to the 5 aggregates of the future: 1/ Attachment to form is the same as in the past: how is attachment to body reborn in this world, when you die, it's still the same in the next life. 2/ Accepting form is not-as-past: the past has no place to go, the future has no place to go. 3/ Accepting form is as-past, not-as-past: form body, mind-body blends into a human, after death the consciousness-god goes, the form-body doesn't go. 4/ Accepting form is not like the past, not real like the past (this sentence means breaking the third sentence). The Four Aggregates of Consciousness, Perception, Thought, Action, and Consciousness all hold on to these four things, so they become 20 views. Attachment of 5 aggregates in 3 lifetimes becomes 60 views and more attachments about "body", "god" is "one" (one) or "other" (other), which becomes 62 views. [6] The eight righteous paths: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right destiny, right effort, righteous thoughts, and right concentration. [7] 18 no: “No”: Cause-and-effect dharmas, ultimately devoid of substance, are called “emptiness”. Again the voidness of the body. 18 No: 1/ No. 2/ Foreign-no. 3/ Inner and outer no. 4/ No-no. 5/ Great no. 6/ First means no. 7/ Be-vi is not. 8/ Void does not. 9/ All-wings (totally) no. 10/ The beginningless no. 11/ No. 12/ Count no. 13/ Self-calculation is not. 14/ Dharma-no. 15/ Irresistible no. 16/ Illegal no. 17/ No. 18/ No law, no law. [8] Ten-ground: 1/ Joy-holy-ground. 2/ Ly-suffering-ground. 3/ Geo-luminescence. 4/ Diem-tue-ground. 5/ Nan-winning-ground. 6/ Present-before-ground. 7/ Far-field-land. 8/ Real estate. 9/ Good-wisdom-ground. 10/ France-van-geo. These ten stages are all called "ground", because they gather the conditioned and unconditioned merits and use them as self-nature, and together serve as the surest refuge for cultivation, cause or birth. - Chief, so it's called "Earth". [9] Knowledge like-illusion, no: "Like-illusion" means still fake but like the real thing. Like actors, appearing one role or another on the stage, making people see and hear real, Call it "illusion". The illusion, though seeing and hearing, seems real, but it's not real. Therefore, giving examples for all dharmas (things) is not real. Here it is said that wisdom, contemplation of existence (yes), no (no) is as-is-illusion, so it is called "knowledge-like-illusion, no". [10] The above passage, from the word "Want" to the word "escape", these four verses say: in the place where Lanna has attained illusory wisdom, she understands that the original things are empty and causes sentient beings to come together. understand, to enter the place of true liberation. [11] The above passage goes from “If you want to be like-minded quickly”, to “in the course of Elegance”, these 8 verses say: in the place of Lana, righteous wisdom will be attained in one's physical body. dharma-nature-equality is incomparable, bringing benefits to sentient beings forever. Witnessing that wisdom, full of inconceivable magical power, contemplating the true nature and reality of all dharmas, such as a mustard seed being a very small thing, Mount Tudi being a very large thing. , but their physical reality is still equal. Due to the incomparable equality and due to the subtle-wonderful intelligence, the transformation through each other, no hindrance should be said "Tu-di collected in the mustard seed". [12] The passage above, from "If people" to "self-mind", these 12 verses also talk about: in the place of Lanna, there will be wisdom without hindrance, wondrous voices speak the Dharma, they- All birth hearers are liberated. And, depending on the conditions of life, using divine powers, wherever you press your toes to the ground, everywhere is shaken, the country is dignified, and sentient beings have their minds on the righteous path. [13] Section or foot evidence: Eliminate hope-or (afflictions) witness-enter true-mind. [14] The above passage, from the place where the "Bodhisattva has the highest capacity to make vows" (in the main text), to this "clears the eye of the Dharma", the Buddha speaks of the Bodhisattvas in the place of Prajna, according to his level, making strong vows by himself, if not test-results do not give up Alanya. The next verse also repeats the above meaning and talks a lot about wisdom and miraculous benefits. Finally, talking about the assembly-listening to the Dharma is beneficial.
