You guys are true Buddhists! You ask the Tathagata such things for all sentient beings in the future life. That's right! That's right! True to your words, the Tathagata, the World-Honored One, has compassion on all sentient beings, equal and incomparable as well as an only child. Now, listen carefully and remember to think carefully, I will now discriminate for you and speak about the bodhisattva's renunciation and abiding like this, the practice of Non-construction like this, this- subdue the illicit mind like this." The bhikkhus said: "Yes, World-Honored One! We wish to listen to the Buddha's teaching!" The Buddha said to the Tri-Light bhikkhu: "A bodhisattva who has gone forth from home abides in such a way, contemplating like this all the time: I have a human body, full faculties, So from where did I die and be reborn in this world? I live in the three realms, and in which realm will I be born? Of the four great continents, in which continent will I be born? Which of the six paths will I be reborn in? Because of what conditions, I can leave my parents, wife and children of relatives to go forth to practice the Way, and my body is not entangled in the eight tribulations? In the dignified life of the past, thousands of Buddhas have entered Nirvana, in the future Star life, thousands of Buddhas have not been born, in the present sage life, thousands of Buddhas, how many such Buddhas- The future has appeared, the transformation is about to end and is about to enter Parinirvana? How many Buddhas, World-Honored Ones have not been born, is it because the predestined conditions of sentient beings have not yet matured and have not yet heard the righteous Dharma? Also, at what time in the future Maitreya will come down from the Tusita heaven into the human world and manifest into the Buddha Way? What good karma do we have in our body? Learning precepts, determination, What virtue will wisdom have? All the Buddhas of the past have not met, will the future World-Honored One see them? I am now in the places of ordinary people, so what are the three afflictive karmas, which is heavier? Once born again, what crime do we create? In which Buddha did I plant good roots? How long has my life been here? Today is over, life is reduced, just like a person who leads a goat to slaughter, gradually comes to the point of death, there is no place to hide, so when the body breaks down, where will life end? Suffering in the three evil paths, how to get rid of it? This body I love and nurture it to make it better but, every time it meditates, it grows old, there is no time to pause, so who is a wise person who loves this body? Tri-Light should know: Bodhisattvas who have left home often observe like this day and night, do not indulge in the world's five sensual pleasures, need to practice diligently, do not often temporarily give up and must consider it necessary to remove heavy stones from the top of the head, remove the fire burning on the head. The mind often repents of previous sins of the past, abides in the four non-conformities, cultivates the twelve actions of the Dau Da with one heart, [5] subdues one's mind like the Chien-das. la. For what reason is it called a genuine person to practice ascetic practices like the sheep-dalas? - Because every time a person goes on a pilgrimage, holding a stick in his hand, he doesn't dare to walk in the middle of the road. If someone comes close to him, he shakes his stick so people can hear it and avoid it. Among the people, their minds practice humility, do not dare to be condescending, when reproved by others, their minds do not hold grudges and never take revenge, even when they are insulted. , beatings also silently endure. What happen? - Knowing that he belongs to a lowly family, he does not belong to any rank in the mass ranks, because of that predestined cause should be angered but not avenged. Tri-Quang should know! The same is true of the bodhisattvas who have left home, shaved off their beards and hair, shaped like a child, held in their hands the objects of the air, and relied on people to support their body and body. wearing a cassava robe [7] like wearing armor, holding a walking stick, holding a machete, wielding a sword of wisdom, breaking down enemies and afflictions, practicing conduct like a child, benefiting all all. Therefore, all the sharp arrows of greed, hatred, and delusion cannot enter the body of a true recluse. Bodhisattvas leave home using three subjects of contemplation, practice patience-forbearance as true renunciation: contemplating living beings as the incarnation of the Buddha, contemplating where one's body is a real fool; contemplation of sentient beings arises the idea of being a noble, contemplating where the body begins to think of being a servant; contemplating living beings arises the perception of living beings as parents, contemplating where one's body arises, thinking of oneself as a son, Daughter. The bodhisattva renunciation often does these contemplations, or is beaten and scolded by others, completely not taking revenge, but only looking for skillful means to tame his mind. Bhikkhu-bhikkhu Tri-Light! Listen carefully! What are the four non-structural? - Are: Clothes, bedding, food and medicine. In the four majesty think like this: the ten directions immeasurable bodhisattvas; Momenta, moment of direction of the Holy-Path, The witness, me too! How to flow in the three realms, Constantly in samsara, immeasurable suffering? Where is this body now? In which way are the six paths of reincarnation? Fetus, ovum, low, chemical [10] receive which species? Body, speech, mind-karma, which profession? In the place of sin, what is the worst crime? Mind of the three properties, [11] which mind is more? Contemplation-subtle like that, Great-Compassion, great-compassion often follow; Great joy, great equanimity, that mind first, Because people are predestined to speak wonderfully. Day and night cultivating the mind without stopping temporarily, As removing the head stone, removing the burning head. Contemplation of the three subjects often does not leave, Contemplation of sentient beings is the Buddha's body; Only I am among the mortals, All sentient beings are precious, I am a lowly servant; Living beings in the world are like parents, I am like a good-natured son and daughter. Being scolded by people is not angry, diligently practicing patience, not jealous or resentful. The four offerings of the mind are not greedy, Thus called "no-construction". Thirty-seven levels of Bodhi, Together with the body of the Tathagata-recommended retribution; Enemy-winning no-contradictory like that, Four non-construction is the basis. Not happy to let go-loose, often practice-practice, That's renunciation: True-Buddhist! The seeds of Bodhi wisdom, reciting more, and the Noble Path are all accomplished. Quickly overcome immeasurable kalpas, Sitting on the flower-king [12] in the dharma-world. Happy, dignified decorations are complete, Boundless lifetimes-sea benefits pants-born; Due to non-construction are mature, Testimonial permanent-results of the Tathagata. [13] Again, Bhikkhu-bhikkhu Tri-Light! The bodhisattva's renunciation is not like that, depending on where he is, he is not cruel, only ashamed to be rich for the medical practice, [14] obtained ten victories: One is , covering oneself, away from shame, full of virtue to know shame to practice good-dharma. Seventh, Cassa is the pure robe of the Buddha, completely eliminating defilements, creating auspicious fields of blessings. Eight is, the body wearing the kasa, the elimination of sins, the ten good karma-paths, the mindfulness of growth. Ninth, Cassa is like a good field or increases the bodhisattva path. Ten is, Cassa like armor, helmets, poison arrows afflictions are not harmful. Tri-Quang should know! Because of this cause and condition, the Buddhas of the three generations, together with the Pratyekabuddhas and Pure Buddhas who left home, all dressed in kasa, and the three Saints sat in the treasure forest of liberation, holding swords. wisdom, breaking ghosts and afflictions, and entering the realms of nirvana. The Buddhas praise the field is good, Benefit all species here above all; The force of Cassa does not think, discuss, Or cause cultivation of Bodhidharma. The sprout of the path grows like Spring rice, the Bodhi-like fruit of the Bodhi tree is like the autumn fruit; Diamond-durable real-armored, Name poison afflictions are not harmful. I now praise through ten victories, Many lifetimes can not speak out; If there is a dragon body wearing a thread, Get rid of the bird's mouth to eat. If people cross the pool wearing this shirt, they will not be afraid of demons, dragons, and fish. Thunder rumbled like the heavens of anger, Wearing the robes of Cassa did not fear. If you stay at home or keep your body respectfully, All demons don't dare to approach. If you often develop the mind to seek renunciation, Bored of leaving the world, practicing Buddhism. The arcs of the ten directions are all shaken, That person proves the body of the Dharma-king quickly. [16] Again, Bodhisattva Tri-Light! Buddhist monastics often do alms-food, even though they have to give up their bodies and lives, but never end that mind. Why is that so? All sentient beings abide in food, so begging for food is extremely beneficial. You guys should know! The bodhisattva renunciation often goes for alms, because he has ten victories. What are ten? Firstly, often go begging for food to feed themselves, but can enter and exit freely without being dependent on others. Second, when going for alms, first tell people the wonderful Dharma, make people feel good, and then ask for food for themselves. Third, for those who do not know how to give, develop great compassion because they tell them the righteous Dharma, causing them to give rise to the mind of giving, which leads to victory. Fourth, follow the Buddha's teachings to increase the precepts, the happiness and virtues, and the infinite wisdom. The fifth is, often go begging for food, for the seven-man, nine-man [17] natural-killing, everyone reverently considers the field of good fortune. Six is, When begging for alms, he will receive the "no-seeing-peak" sign [18] of the Tathāgata, responding to the world's vast offerings. Seventh, you Buddhists study this Dharma, uphold the Three Jewels, and benefit sentient beings. Eighth, when begging for food, not for the sake of food and drink, but with hope, praising all sons and daughters. Nine is, when going for alms-food should follow-in turn, should not distinguish the poor, the rich. Ten is, often going to beg for food, the Buddhas are happy, and have all-knowledge, which is the most favorable condition. Bodhisattva Tri-Light! For your sake, I will talk about ten such benefits, if they are widely distinguished, time is immeasurable and boundless. You bhikkhus, and those in the future who seek the Buddha-way should learn like this! At that time, the World-Honored One spoke a verse saying: Bodhisattva Tri-Light, you listen carefully! Great-great-great-grandfather should give up greed; Developing the mind to practice the path of the world, the beginning of the alms round is the basis. Ordinary people rely on illegal food, the Holy One eats unscrupulous food: illegitimate, unscrupulous mortals, Saints, All of them eat food, live. I for you are Buddhists, Declaring two advantages-hanh [19] out-of-the-world; As-Later three generations are all praise, merit-begging-real has ten benefits: Privately call this action is the ultimate victory, Import-Export is not binding; First, make the benefactor generate the first-heart, Bodhi-oriented, and then eat. For the purpose of eliminating greed-talking magic-dharma, Go to the great-discharge of immeasurable-mindedness; According to the great-master's instructions to go for alms, Increase immeasurable virtuous conduct. Seven conceited, nine conceited self-destruction, Being respected by the Humans and Heavenly Fathers; Peak-General Tathagata is not visible, Turning the vehicle magically-dharmas in the ten directions. At the end of the future, this transmission of the law, Causing not to cut off the Three Jewels; If because of eating and drinking, greed arises, Do not praise men and women. Initiate the idea of equality-great-compassion, Not born to distinguish between rich and poor. Pure-purgatory-food-praise Buddha, Necessary-intellectual from that birth. The Tathagata three lives appeared, For the sake of sentient beings said four dishes: [20] Then, contact, volition, and consciousness are four dishes, It is the contraband food of life. Only Dharma-joy, Zen-browsing-food, [21] is the dish of the Hien-Saint. You are tired of the smell of this world, So you should ask for more non-smuggling food! [22] Again, Bodhisattva Tri-Light! Buddhists who leave home for medicine should not be greedy. If when there is a disease, the medicine people decoct and then leave, like the Halle (Haritaki) Piler and Amalaka (Amalaka) should take those medicines and drink; until a lifetime of only drinking those discarded drugs. And, for those drugs, the concept of "tri-tense" (knowing enough) is often born, so it's called "true Sa-mon". A monastic Buddhist usually takes the medicine and throws it away, and he gains ten victories. What are ten? One is, because of the stairs but, not always close to other people, the time can completely turn off the mind of desire and be able to abide in righteous thoughts. Eight, quickly subduing the diseases of afflictions, attaining the permanent dharma-body of the Tathagata. People who leave home take unstructured drugs; Wonderfully Hanh Bodhisattva, that is before, Sentient beings have diseases like themselves. Using great compassion to save all suffering, Again using loving-kindness for peace; The best medicine for people, the first person to leave, we take and drink. Bodhisattvas are not picky about good or bad medicine, Only cure diseases for peace; Take the leftover medicine people give up, Take enough medicine to cure the disease. Taking medicine that people give up has ten benefits, the Tathagata three generations together praise: Although seeking medicine is not close to people, Completely turning off the bridge, relying on righteous mindfulness of "non-purity" is easy to mature, Cause causes Bodhi in the distant future; Do not desire orange-taste, give up all greed, Should seek Dharma-joy, Meditation-browsing-food. Treasures in life are tri-rich, Obtained seven holy-talent [24] innocuous; Leaving ordinary people, not living together, Befriend Saint-Sage as a friend. Therefore do not hate the drug, With food-food, stop covetous; Precious, medicinal or hopeless, the world therefore respects it. Or cure body-mind-disease-afflictions, Enlightenment-like Truth-like-nature-people; Completely end the habit in the three realms, Realization is unsurpassed true-liberation. According to the Buddha's teachings, the direction of Bodhi, Phuc-tri-member-to-body-retribution. You Buddhists all practice and study, Will sit in the vajra-datta. [25] Again, Tri-Quang! The bodhisattva renunciation, far from the commotion, dwells in the place of Alanha, [26] cultivating his mind for immeasurable thousand years in order to seek the Buddha-way. The Tathagata in three lifetimes abandoned noisy places, stayed in places where there was no peace, cultivated more lives, and attained Bodhi. The Pratyekabuddhas, the Sravakas, all the sages who have attained Sainthood are also in such a quiet place. In the place of Alanya, there are ten virtuous qualities that enable people to practice and attain three Bodhi results. [27] What are ten victors? The fifth is, preferring to stay in the place where Alanna practices the far-away practice, not seeking the five kinds of human and heavenly pleasures. Sixth, leaving the noisy place in a place of solitude, practicing Buddhism without regretting your life. Seventh, preferring a quiet place, all worldly careers are accomplished easily and without hindrance. Eight, all worldly or out-of-this-world careers are accomplished easily and without hindrance. Ninth, where Alanna is "The Samadhi-no" [29] or can witness hundreds of thousands of great samadhis. Ten is, taking "pure-like-emptiness" as a home, [30] mind free of obstacles, having great wisdom. Tri-Quang should know! There is such immeasurable merit in Alanya! Because of that predestined, Buddhists leave home vowing to give up their lives, not to leave the mountains and forests; If, for the sake of listening to the Dharma or making offerings to the sick, monks, or parents, have to go out of the place where Alanna is, and enter the village, they should return to the place of Arahant quickly. If there is a predestined condition that cannot be returned, one should think: "Now in this village as in the mountains and forests, possessions are deceptively like a dream, and if they are available, they should not be greedy!" Such a Buddhist is "Maha-sat". [31] At that time, the World-Honored One said the verse: Tri-light you listen carefully! The abode of the one who is free of afflictions: Far from the hustle and bustle, in a quiet place, These are the places where the fairies live. Three generations of Bodhisattvas seek Bodhi, In the Land of Lanna to attain true enlightenment; Pratyekabuddhas, Thanh-man saints, Also in this place Bodhi. In Alanda the ten benefits, Or to witness the fruit of the Three Vehicles: Travel free like a lion, In the four majesty of no strings attached. Under the trees and mountains of the holy ham, Not "falling, falling" is Lan Nha; Non-binding lingerie, Sitting on the "four-fearless" lion throne. Abandoning defilements is Grace, All craving is not covetous. Outside of things boring-labour, Not craving the five worldly pleasures. People who are far away from the hustle and bustle, prefer the quiet, Leave the body, discharge their lives to pray for the Buddha-Dao; In a quiet place without human voices, Disturbances in the mind do not arise. Good karma in the world, out in the world, and unobstructed mind are all accomplished. Therefore, Lan Nha is the basis, Or give birth to hundreds of thousands of things Samadhi. Taking the "great-no-nothingness" as the void, the body-mind of the practitioner is not obstructed. Having all these ten victories, So the Saints are often there. Tri-Quang you, Buddhists, If you want to quickly become One-Triple; Until in a dream not to leave, Where Alanna: Bodhi. After I've passed away, the person who develops the mind, Often stays in the place of Alanna; Not long sitting on Bao-Hoa-king, Realizing the legal-body-often-bliss-fruit. Mr. Tri-Quang, the Bodhisattva-they are darani, full of great-magic powers. Hundreds of thousands of people, Thien generated Bodhi mind, understood the three dharma-doors of liberation. At that time, the Tathagata told the assembly, "If there is pure faith, good men, good women, who can hear the profound Dharma-door on the four "non-constructive" such as these, - maintaining, reading, interpreting, and transcribing, such people in their place of birth will meet a person of good knowledge who will practice the bodhisattva's practice forever without any setbacks, without being lost at all. the karma-disturb-disturb; In the present life, he will be blessed with great wisdom, uphold the Three Jewels, gain the strength to be self-sufficient, and follow the Buddha-race without stopping. What good karma does our body have? Learning precepts, concentration, wisdom, what virtue? Will there ever be a Buddha here? Which of the three karmas in this body is heavier? What crime have I committed? In which Buddha did I plant good roots? How long will we last? Where will you be born if you die? How can I avoid the three evil ways? This body is always declining, what do I love to do? The bodhisattva does not indulge in the five sensual pleasures, diligently practices, meditates continuously, and considers it as removing the fire from his head. And, the mind often repents, abides in the 4 non-conformities, practices the 12 practices of Dau Da and tames their own mind. The four non-constructive are four things depending on where they are, so they don't get greedy.
