1. SUBJECT SUBJECTS
Shakyamuni Buddha, at the time when he first turned the Dharma wheel and saved Anya Kieu-like, until the last time he gave a lecture, he saved Tubatdala. When the people who deserve to be saved were all over, in between the two Sala trees he was about to enter Nirvana. At that time it was midnight, everywhere was quiet without a sound. Buddha gave a brief summary of the essential points of the Dharma for his disciples.
2. KEEP THE PRINCIPLE (The Main School)
“Bhikkhus, you guys! After we pass away, we should respect and revere the precepts, such as seeing light in a dark place; like the poor gain treasure. Know that the precepts are your teachers, just as I am here in the world, there is no difference.
“Those who keep the precepts of purity are not allowed to do business or barter; buy and hold land and houses; raising slaves and animals for profit. All varieties of plants and all precious possessions should be kept away, as from a pit of fire. Do not cut down trees, plow fields or dig soil; medicine preparation; see good and bad generals; look at the stars in the sky to predict fate should be damaged Things that look at the good and bad of the day should not be done.
“Be careful to keep yourself in moderation, eat at the right time, feed yourself by being clean. Not allowed to participate in the affairs of the world, as a messenger, as a messenger. Things like practicing spells and elixir; Friendship with people of luxury, contempt for those who are close and close, should not be done.
“You must always keep your mindfulness, your mind straight, and seek to escape from birth and death. Do not hide mistakes, or do unusual things to fascinate others. For the four items offered, there should be moderation, knowing just enough. When an offering is made, it should not be stored.
“That is to say briefly the appearance of keeping the precepts. The main precept is to follow the root of liberation, so it is called Depending on liberation. By following the precepts, meditation and wisdom are born. That's why bhikkhus must keep the precepts pure, not to have the delinquency and omission. If one keeps the precepts pure, he will obtain good dharmas. If you don't keep the precepts pure, good merit cannot be born. Therefore, you should know that the precepts are the first place to stay safe and generate merit."
3. TAM MY
“Bhikkhus, you guys! Already able to abide in the precepts, should restrain the five senses, do not let loose, run after the five desires. For example, a cowherd, holding a stick to guard, does not allow freedom to run around and violate people's fields.
“If they let go of the five senses, they will not only follow the five desires without limits and cannot be controlled, but like a wild horse without a rein, they will drag people into the pit. Like being harmed by a bandit, suffering only for this one life, but being harmed by a five-rooted enemy, the tribulation lasts many lifetimes, and is very heavy, so it is impossible not to be cautious.
“Therefore, the wise control the senses, not depending on them; keep the room like a bandit, don't let it loose. If you let go, it will soon perish because of touch.
“Mind is the master of the five senses. So you have to master the mind. The mind is very scary, more than venomous snakes, wild animals, enemies, great fires, etc. Such examples are not enough. The danger is like a person holding a bowl of honey, walking quickly, eyes only looking at honey, so he can't see a very deep pit under his feet; like a mad elephant with no hook to hold back; like an ape that is able to climb a tree, freely jumping and dancing, difficult to prevent and control Must be quick to restrain, not to be distracted. If you let go of your mind, all good deeds will be destroyed; If you can control the mind, nothing is not done.
"Therefore, bhikkhus, must be diligent and diligent, keeping the mind under control."
4. Eat with moderation
“Bhikkhus, you guys! When eating and drinking should be considered as taking medicine to treat illness, even if it is good or bad, only use it properly, put it in the body just to avoid hunger and thirst.
“Like a bee sucking nectar, it only takes the pistil without harming its fragrance. Bhikkhu-stilts, too, receive people's offerings enough to eliminate hunger and thirst, not be greedy for much, harming the goodness of people; like a wise man who knows the strength of an ox, and does not press it so hard that it wears out.”
5. DON'T JOIN A LOT of SLEEP
“Bhikkhus, you guys! All day you should diligently practice kusala, without wasting time. At night, it should not be missed at the beginning of the day and near the dawn. And at midnight, use chanting to know yourself. Don't let sleep make your life go to waste. Often remembering the fire of impermanence that always burns the world, soon worried about saving oneself, not falling asleep. Enemies of affliction are always lurking to kill people, more toxic than enemies. Why are you still sleeping and not waking up? The venomous snake of affliction is sleeping in the mind, like a bad python sleeping in the house. Use the iron hook to observe the precepts and soon remove them. The sleeping snake has been eliminated, so it can sleep peacefully. If you haven't been able to get rid of that snake, but you still sleep, you won't be ashamed of yourself.
“Taking self-shame as a garment, it is the best in beauty jewelry. Shame is like a sharp hook, which can help tame wrongdoing. So bhikkhus should always be ashamed of themselves and never be negligent. If we let go of shame, we will lose all our merits.
“Those who are ashamed can only do good. The one who has no shame is like a beast."
6. DON'T WAIT
“Bhikkhus, you guys! If someone comes to mutilate the body to pieces, be careful not to get angry; also guard your mouth, do not speak evil words. If you let go of your anger, you are harming the Way and losing all the benefits and virtues.
“Patience is a virtue that morality and austerity cannot match. A person who can be patient is worthy of being called a strong man. Just as a person who cannot gladly accept cruel insults such as drinking orange juice, cannot be called a wise person who has entered the Way. Why so? The harm of anger is to destroy good dharmas, to lose a good reputation, to make this life and the next life no one wants to meet you.
“You should know that an angry mind is better than a fierce fire, and you must always guard it and not let it enter. Enemies steal merit, nothing more than anger. Secular people enjoy sensual pleasures, not practitioners of the Way, so they have no way of self-control, anger can still be forgiven; like a monastic practicing the Way, without covetousness, but also holding onto anger, it's impossible. Like in the middle of a clear blue sky, there is fiery thunder, it is not a worthy thing."
7. DON'T BE CONFIDENT
“Bhikkhus, you guys! When you rub your head, remember that you have given up beautiful jewelry, worn clothes of ruined colors, and kept your temper to feed yourself by begging. Seeing this for yourself, if you have a prideful mind, quickly remove it. Secular people shouldn't even let their pride grow, let alone those who have entered the religion because they want to be liberated and have humbled themselves to beg?"
8. EXCEPT SUPER SHOCKING
“Bhikkhus, you guys! Mindfulness is contrary to religion. Therefore, it is necessary to keep a sincere and upright heart. Know that the heart of the song is just to deceive. The converts are not like that. You should keep your heart right, with honesty as the root."
9. LESS DESIRE
“Bhikkhus, you guys! You should know that people with many desires always seek many benefits, so suffering is also a lot. People with little desire are not harmed by desire or desire. Just a little desire that, it is very advisable to practice; how much less desire can produce more merit?
“Those who have few desires do not have a heart to pray to please others, nor are they led by the senses. People who practice less desire will be calm, not afraid at all; No matter what happens, you will find yourself fully satisfied. Keeping a mind of few desires, one will attain Nirvana.
"That's called low desire."
10. KNOW ENOUGH
“Bhikkhus, you guys! If you want to be free from all suffering, you should contemplate knowing enough. The magic of knowing enough is the place to be rich, happy, and secure. Those who know enough, even lying on the ground, still feel happy. People who do not know enough, even in the sky, are not satisfied.
“Those who do not know enough, though rich, are poor. People who know enough, though poor, are rich. Those who do not know enough are often led by the five desires, so those who know enough feel pity.
"That's called knowing enough."
11. REMOVE
“Bhikkhus, you guys! Wanting to be quiet, unconditioned, peaceful, should leave the noisy gathering place, alone in a secluded place. People in a quiet place are respected by Indra and devas. Therefore, our assemblies and those of others should give up, come alone in a secluded place, think and eradicate suffering.
“If you like the assembly, you will have to endure all kinds of suffering. For example, a large tree, where many birds gather, inevitably the danger of dry branches and broken branches. Caught in the mundane world, one must sink into the ocean of suffering, like an old elephant stuck in a bog, unable to get himself out.
"That's called separation."
12. TINH THAN
“Bhikkhus, you guys! If you are diligent and diligent, nothing is difficult. Therefore, you should be diligent and diligent. For example, if a small stream of water flows forever, it can also erode a stone. If in the mind of a cultivator is leisurely and leisurely, it is like a person who rubs a tree to get fire, but is not hot enough to stop quickly. Even if he wants fire, it's hard to get it.
"That's called diligence."
13. DON'T LOST MINDNESS
“Bhikkhus, you guys! To seek the help of good and knowledgeable people, and to ask for the help of skillful people, is not equal to losing mindfulness. If one does not lose mindfulness, the enemy of defilements cannot penetrate. So you should always keep mindfulness in mind. If you lose mindfulness, you lose all your merit. As mindfulness is strong and durable, even in the midst of a group of enemies the five desires will not be harmed; Just like wearing armor to battle, there is nothing to fear.
"That's called not losing mindfulness."
14. MEDITATIONS
“Bhikkhus, you guys! If one is centered, the mind is concentrated. Thanks to the concentrated mind, it is possible to know the signs of the dharmas arising and passing away in the world. So you often have to diligently practice concentration. If the person is centered, the mind will not be scattered. For example, people who want to preserve water must skillfully build and repair the embankment. Cultivators too, because of keeping the country of wisdom, should practice meditation well, not letting the rust flow.
"That's called concentration."
15. INTELLIGENCE
“Bhikkhus, you guys! If there is wisdom, there is no attachment or attachment. Often self-examination, leaving no room for error. Thus, within the Dharma one can be liberated. If that's not the case, then he's not a cultivator, he's not a layman, he has no name to call.
“True wisdom is a sturdy boat that carries people across the sea of old age, sickness, and death; again like a great lamp shining in the darkness of ignorance; like a medicine that cures all diseases; like a sharp ax that cuts down the tree of sorrow. Therefore, you must take the wisdom subjects of hearing, thinking, and practicing to increase your own benefits. If one has the illumination of wisdom, then even though it has only flesh and blood, it is really the one who sees everything clearly. That is called wisdom.”
16. DON'T TALK
“Bhikkhus, you guys! If you talk about all kinds of things just to have fun, the mind must be scattered. Thus, although ordained, but not yet liberated. That's why bhikkhus must quickly give up their mind-boggling jokes. If you want to experience the cessation of joy, you should only skillfully eliminate the harm of joking.
"That's called not joking."
17. TRUST YOURSELF
“Bhikkhus, you guys! For the merit usually should be wholehearted. Giving up distraction is like avoiding enemies. The benefits that the Great Compassionate World-Honored One preached can all be taken as an end, you should practice diligently. Like when you are in a high mountain or deserted place, or under a tree, or leave everything behind and live in a deserted house, you should always think of the dharmas you have learned, don't forget, often try practice diligently. Don't waste your life and regret it later.
“I am like a doctor who knows the disease and gives medicine. It's not the doctor's fault whether the patient takes the medicine or not. Also like a person who is good at showing the way, shows people the good way. If you hear it but don't follow, it's not the fault of the guide."
18. STOP THINKING
“If you have any doubts about the Four Noble Truths, then quickly ask. Don't hold your doubts without asking for clarification."
At that time, the Blessed One said this three times, but no one asked. Why? For in the true assembly no one has any doubts.
At that time Ananda, contemplating the mind of the whole assembly, said to the Buddha:
“World-Honored One! The moon can make it hot and the sun cool, but the Buddha preached the Four Noble Truths, it couldn't be different. The Buddha said that the truth of suffering is indeed suffering, and cannot be said to be joy. To say that the First Noble Truth is the cause, there really is no other cause. If suffering can be eliminated, then the cause has ceased. Because the cause has ceased, the effect must cease. The path to the cessation of suffering is the true path, there is no other way.
“World-Honored One! Now, bhikkhus, there is no doubt about the Four Noble Truths."
19. Sentient beings are liberated
“In this assembly, those who have not yet attained arahantship, seeing the Buddha's passing away, will feel compassion. Those who have just entered the Dharma gate and listen to the Buddha's teachings will be immediately liberated. Like in the dark night, when there is a flash of light, I see the way As for those who have attained arahantship and have crossed the sea of suffering, they only think, "Does the World-Honored One pass away so soon?"
Although Ananda said this, everyone in the assembly understood the meaning of the Four Noble Truths.
The World-Honored One, desiring to strengthen the heart of the assembly, therefore, with great compassion, spoke these words for the whole assembly:
“Bhikkhus, you guys! Don't hold your heart and mind. Just as we have lived in the world for an entire lifetime, we must eventually pass away. Blending without dissolving, it's impossible. For our own benefit, for the benefit of others, we have all taught in the Dharma. If we live a long life, it won't be of any use. Those who can be saved, in heaven, are already saved. For those who cannot be saved, I have also created a predestined way to save them later."
20. FRENCH BODY (Part of Circulation)
“From now on, my disciples will follow the Dharma step by step in order to practice. Thus, the Tathagata's dharmakaya is still permanent and not lost. So you have to know that everything in life is impermanent, there will be separation. Don't hold your heart in sorrow anymore, the appearance in life is like that. Be diligent and diligent, seek liberation soon, and bring the light of wisdom to an end of ignorance and gloom. Life is fragile, dangerous, nothing is stable. Now we are about to enter extinction, as if we have finished eliminating evil diseases. This form of evil evil that deserves to be abandoned, temporarily called the body, is immersed in the great sea of birth and death, old age. Is there any wise person who can get rid of it, like killing an enemy, and yet be unhappy?"
21. CONCLUSION
“Bhikkhus, you guys! Often should wholeheartedly seek to learn the path of liberation. All moving and unmoving dharmas in the world are signs of corruption and instability. Guys, stop saying anything. Time is passing, we are about to perish. These are my final teachings.”END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL.GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.8/7/2021.
White Paper by Most Venerable Thich Tam Chau: The Great Tribulation of Buddhism and the Country, 1996 In 1966, the Church Congress forced me to be rector for another term. The Church was afraid of the generals competing for influence, unable to have a solid foundation to build the country, the Church requested (election) the Constituent Assembly. This request is spread throughout the Church. But within a few months, the request for elections to the Constituent Assembly was accepted by the Government of the Generals on April 14, 1966. After the movement to elect the Constituent Assembly was satisfied, in the name of the President, I sent a notice to the places that knew: to stop fighting, and only put up programs to build the law. On May 2, 1966, I flew to Colombo, the capital of Ceylon, Together with Sangha delegates from other countries drafted the Charter and established the World Sangha from May 6, 1966, and I assumed the position of Vice President. Returning from Ceylon, I visited ...
